EcoNiwas Samhita Cell ,Punjab in support with Punjab Energy Development Agency (PEDA),GIZ and Bureau of Energy Efficiency organised one day webinar on Awareness of EcoNiwas Samhita on 27th March 2020 in Amritsar .The programme commenced with an introduction speech by Mr. Balkar Singh, Joint Director, PEDA. He explained the importance of energy efficiency in residential units along with various initiates of PEDA in Punjab to implement energy efficiency measures in the state in association with Bureau of Energy Efficiency. He also introduced two cells working towards the implementation of ENS and ECBC in the state.Following him, Mr. Saurabh Diddi, Director - Bureau of Energy Efficiency and Mr. Vikas Ranjan, Programme Manager,EERB, GIZ spoke about the steps taken by Bureau of Energy Efficiency for implementation of energy policy in residential buildings.Two Different sessions on EcoNiwas Samhita 2018 and Residential Building Labelling Programme were conducted .Over 100 participants from diverse sectors across the country and state attended the webinar.All the presentations are attached for reference.
