One day webinar on ENS Awareness and Training for Uttar Pradesh

One day ENS Awareness and Training webinar was organized by ENS Cell, Uttar Pradesh in support with UP NEDA, BEE and GIZ on 14^th April 2020 for various stakeholders of Lucknow.

The objective of the webinar was to understand the signifIcance of Eco-Niwas Samhita 2018, its technical aspects and compliance. The programme commenced with an introduction speech from UP NEDA where the various initiatives taken by the UP NEDA to implement energy efficiency measures in Utttar Pradesh were explained.Representatives from BEE and GIZ spoke about the steps taken by Bureau of Energy Efficiency for implementation of various energy policies in residential building sector.The webinar was divided into two sessions followed by Q&A.The key features of EcoNiwas Samhita was discussed in the first session and the key features of Residential building labelling programme was discussed in the second session.Participants for the webinar were primarily Architects, Government and Private sector senior professionals, Architecture colleges and Government officials from various departments.This webinar was attended by more than 400 individuals from different sectors as mentioned.
