BEE and GIZ organized an awareness webinar on “Star Labelling for Energy Efficient Homes” on 7th May 2020.

The objective of organizing this webinar was to explain in detail about the Star labelling programme,it's key specifications and application procedures.Representative from GIZ explained the scope, methodology & framework of the program covering the EPI calculation methodology and assumptions made during the development of benchmarks. He explained the criteria requirements and the mandatory requirements to achieve the label. He also gave an overview of the application process and applicable fee.The live demonstration of labelling tool was performed and form filling process for a developer and individual owner were discussed in detail.The complete application submission procedure involving the modeling inputs, simulation for EPI, and the backend processes for completing an application submission were discussed in detail in the webinar.The total no. of participants was 191 including architects,developers and consultants from different institutions across the country.
