BEE and GIZ organized another awareness webinar on “Star Labelling for Energy Efficient Homes” on 14th May 2020.This webinar was part of the series of 4 webinars for awareness creation of energy efficiency label for residential buildings in India.

The objective of organizing this webinar was to explain in detail about the Star labelling programme,it's key specifications and application procedures.Representative from GIZ explained the scope, methodology & framework of the program covering the EPI calculation methodology and assumptions made during the development of benchmarks,the application process and applicable fee. The criteria requirements and the mandatory requirements to achieve the label were explained in detail to the audience.The live demonstration of labelling tool was performed and form filling process for a developer and individual owner were discussed in detail.The complete application submission procedure involving the modeling inputs, simulation for EPI, and the backend processes for completing an application submission were discussed in the webinar.The total no. of participants was 225 including architects,developers and consultants from south part of the country that involved states such as Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, etc.
