Awareness Webinar on EcoNiwas Samhita for Architectural colleges in Bengaluru

ENS Cell Karnataka,in collaboration with BEE,KREDL and GIZ organized a one day awareness webinar on EcoNiwas Samhita 2018 on 17th June,2020 for the students and faculties of BGS School of Architecture and Planning, Bengaluru.The technical features of EcoNiwas Samhita 2018-the residential building code along with its importance were explained to the attendees.The scope of the code along with the case studies and compliance requirements were discussed in detail in the webinar.The compliance tool for EcoNiwas Samhita was presented and explained by the speakers.Panelists from BEE,KREDL and GIZ spoke about the different initiatives and policies taken by the Bureau for implementing energy efficiency in the residential building sector in the state of Karnataka.The total number of participants was sixty in the webinar.
